Hey guys,
Ive been reading alot of threads about what spark plugs I should use with the Nology Hotwires. I havent got the Nology Hotwires yet but im pretty determined to get them in December, and I know alot of people say not to use them with the MSP but I want to give them a go. If anyone has had a success with the Nology wires, can you suggest what plugs to use and what to gap them at, and I know that the colder plugs are better to help dispurse heat.
P.S. im an every day driver with mostly stock setup except for injen intake, greddy boost controler, and 4" muffler.

Sounds right.
Honestly though, OEM all around is the way to go as far as ignition is concerned on our cars. OEM coils, wires, plugs.. all of it. Just don't touch any of it.. your car will love you more that way.

I dont see why people are having issues with the nology wires though. If the nology wires help to create a spark that is 300% better than they should help to burn up the extra fuel our ecu puts into the engine when we stomp onto the gas pedal. If installed correctly with some good plugs, the nology wires should help.

sounds like someone is reading the back of the box.
Theres no reason to upgrade the wires on a otherwise stock ignition system. the spark starts at the coil pack, a wire will not increase voltage.
Will it work? yes. Money well spent? no.

Because lots of us have had them before and they didn't do anything.. and in some cases caused more harm than good. So in other words, a $200 waste of money. We're just trying to help ya out.

Oem are the NGK BKR7E correct
no those are not oem. the oem plugs are not copper and have a lower heat stage..
the brk7e plugs are the best choice. they are copper plugs and they absorb heat the best. downfall to copper plugs is that they wear down faster. they also are a stage colder.
