i cant really name specifics right now, but theres a rule to mufflers. an oval shaped muffler will sound deeper than a round one. you might also want to stay away from catless midpipes. search "protege5" at youtube. there are a bunch of clips of different muffler sounds, you might find one you like.

Welcome to the Forum!
You'll find a ton of good information on exhausts for the P5 in the Official Exhaust Thread (http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123685827&highlight=official+exhaust+thread). I would recommend the Racing Beat for what you are looking for, but there are a ton of options out there. A header will also deepen the exhaust note, if that's what you're looking for. Good luck with your search!

The embelms are stuck on however they have pegs that will leave holes if removed.
Edit: Take a look at the link in my sig.

Looks good and clean.
I suggest a Racing Beat cat-back for you.
I'm running a magnaflow which is one of the deeper, but if you're looking for a big tip, it's not for you.
Also, that your jeep in the back? Got a 2" lift and some 31's on it?

have you tried pushing the switch on the lower side of your dashboard when your headlights are on?
If that doesn't work, check your fuses. If that doesn't work, check the bulbs inside themselves
There is a mod in the how-to section that will allow you to run the foglights on without the headlights, which most of us here have done, and i ran with my foglights on 247 to increase people seeing me and not pulling out front of me.

You're in Canada. I was thinking Washington...anyway. There is quite a large Protege club in the GVRD/lower mainland.
Most of them contragate elsewhere but they will chime in soon.
I'd comment on the exhaust but I am 'StockMan', so I can't.
