double din radio install

so i saw a couple of threads where people have installing doubledin touchscreens. i just bought a clarion unit for my g/f and installed it but i had to make a whole custom bracket and now theres a small 1/8" gap on the bottom. what did you guys do to solve this?

why did you have to make a custom bracket? Did you check with some place like crutchfield to make sure it fit?

^^ i feel stupid lol there is a kit for these cars. for some reason i was thinking these cars were just double din using a cage.
