Some of us was speaking about a Moroso meet on Dec. 5, Fast Friday - Grudge Racing At The ALL NEW Moroso 5pm - 10pm. It's a new track as they have just recently finish rebuilding the facility.

I am starting a thread to see all who's interested.

I went out to moroso last night with some friends from work, my friend ran his mustang cobra, he did a best time of 11.27 w/o nos, the track is really nice, it was cold as a mo fo, but for a wed. there was a lot of people out there, anyway's I spoked to the people at the entrance and the give me the number for the sales dept. to get a group discount, I want to get a head count as to how many people really wants to go, so I can call and try arrange a better price for us.

The track is really nice, so don't worry about it, the only downside last night was temp. it was too cold for traction, most guy's had to launch slow and roll into it.

It's hard to get him off that thing. Kids just don't wanna play outside anymore. If he's not on his Wii, then he's listening to his i-pod, or on his computer playing W.O.W. Even when we go out, his i-pod or PSP has to go with him. He says he'll get bored without it.

I wish I HAD it as good growing up. But hell, I still liked to go outside and play football with my brother and his friends every weekend. And when I went to a resturant with my family, we were given crayons and a kids menu to write all over. Kids these days just don't know.

just ordered "Trailing Arm" which should adjust the angle of the wheel!
but the front passanger seem... well actually it is at an angle as well! the guy (mazda bodyshop) who is doing everything for me said he'll put in the trailing arm and aling it and hpefully it would fix everything if it doenst then move on to the next part till its fixed :'( hopefully it wont get to expensive

dont want to sound like an ass man but you'll be lucky to get your alignment right. My alignment was horrible after the accident and that's after having the car going in and out the shop about 4-5 times. Its still in the shop right now too. ...shit that sucks cause when i talked to the lady over the phone i mentioned that and she was like "yea we got lots of complains about them" them meaning palm beach mazda and she said that they will take care of me and i got nothing to worry about. We'll see when i get there i guess. OR ask your boy to make an appointment for me friday morning at around 8 or wen ever the dealer opens and i'll go over there. I want to get my clutch looked at too. I barely have to press it and it engages. It only clamps nice and firm early in the morning when the car is cold, other than that its like jello.

My car's been in two front end wrecks... the alignment has never really been great. It pulls to the right constantly. Which is funny because the last accident it pulled to the left. Now all I have to do is get hit head on and I should be good to go! haha

mine isnt that bad but it deff bothers me when i change lanes cause it looks like the car has sway when its really me trying to get back to center. It sucks. And when i turn it bugs me like crazy. I noticed my power steering fluid is like 1 inch bellow the line too...wtf..why? I popped the hood on my moms 06 altima that i ran pretty dam hard when i didnt have a car and the power steering fluid level is fine.

Check the wear of your tires. There's a few reasons for the car to pull excessively to the right or left. Usually most cars will pull a bit to the right if you let go of the steering wheel. If it pulls too much or too quickly, it can be a couple things. Alignment's off, unevenly worn tires, bad bushings, or yes, the camber is off. Usually the car will pull in the direction of the more positive camber. Positive camber is when you look at the wheel and it seems to be going out, instead of in (which is negative camber). But it could also be that your tires are unevenly worn.

Also lets say the impact caused the right side suspension to wear out to the point where my car was leaning to the left (looked lower on left side than the right side) which it was, would that also cause it to pull? The car is in the shop right now getting the springs changed because the jackasses at the dealer now think its the springs instead of changing out the whole suspension.

thats called "toe" not "camber"

i just got back from the meet. I enjoyed it, had fun...even though i didn't race since my car is in the shop but still had fun. Someone took pics so they will be up here. I took some videos but they are shitty as hell since i took them with my phone. All you see is 2 dots just going lol.

Hey... I spun EVERY gear that time because of some water in the left lane. NOT my fault... and it was ONCE. :p

I don't have a problem running in the 14's, it's getting into the 13's that's my problem. My mph is 104... which is good.. but I should be doing better in 1st and 2nd, which I baby because it's hard to get some grip. My 60 ft was around 2.6 - which is horrible. I need a launching teacher!!! lol

well to help you out the burn it the easiest to learn with a front wheel drive vehicle because all you do it stomp the gas and at around 3000 (depending on the rev limiter) just dump the clutch. also try to keep the car from bouncing off the limiter. but he we ALL know that it is a little diferent at the track b/c of all the adrenalin pumpin ya know...

I'm going to try to learn around some out in the woods place where's there's no cops or people. This is only my second stick shift car. All my previous cars have been automatic. So it's still a bit of a learning process for me.

what i would usually do is dump the clutch at about 3500 and yank the hand brake....I just can't ever launch right. I always end up pressing the clutch in and revving it to 4k then you just hear me burn out almost all of 1st gear..shitty tires?

Hand brake up, front tires in the wet zone of the staging area, in first gear with the clutch in rev the engine up to around 5k and dump the clutch and hit the gas, stay on it and burn up the tires. :-) Good luck! You can try this on the street too but dont be doing it too often unless you want new tires soon.

Too powerful... There's NOTHING wrong with dumping it up there and even bouncing off the rev limiter. She's tuned and the Haltech has a proper rev cut. At 3k shes gonna get grip and drag her rear tires to the start line and not warm them up at all. If she were on slicks I would say rev to the limiter and dump the clutch.

the car is still lower on the left rear tire but the rest i perfect so i am guessing if i change that one shock i should be good.

lol...chill...don't say that. It will only be there for couple hrs i am changing the fluids my self so it will be in my drive way while i drain the tranny and motor oil out :) I also got new shocks and struts for it because the car still leans toward the left so i am guessing now the only thing left to do is change the shocks and struts.
