that would be awesome if they did...im gonna go measure now and see if i can find something. but i wouldnt mind it being out in the open if it wouldnt hurt anything. someone needs to write up a how-to relocate the battery. lol

how to: get 2ga wire, splice oem bat wires and run to rear. drill hole and install gromets or silicon.....keeping the bat tied down different story.....wonder if one could fit in the spare well?? lemme know

unless it's a sealed unit...Yes!! There are couple brands that make sealed units, most off-road rock crawler guys gun them. I had an optima in my Suzuki Samurai rock crawler

moving the Batt to the back looks like more trouble then its worth. I mean, if you have a CAI, then the air restriction is not a factor... they only other thing i can think of is weight distrubtion. but i mean, the batt is only a couple of pounds. For normal driving its not worth it. Maybe a die hard AutoX'r

it's not that hard to do, really think about, you need one thick wire, the positive running from the front to the back, reground the car in the back to the battery and there you go, holding the battery, find a cage for it somewhere, since rock crawlers use them it shoudn't be hard to find, bolt it in, put in the battery, done.

You can get a battery trey off ebay, or optimas site. they are 100 to 200 bucks. Also I wouldn't ;a wire pulling that much running through my car even if it is fused.
I am putting a small battery in the trunk for the sub and 4 channel amps, and I don't want to lol. I got 2 300amp fuses on th 0guage wire running through the car. and the wires going to the amps are fused also. But running the whole cars power from the trunk, iono. Its been done, and its not that hard.

if you don't have a cap you can put one of those in. i have a 1.5fd and it cured all the dancing lights but the loud and very deep bass. plus that would that would save you from running the really heavy wire and some wear on the alt

I already ran the wire hahaha, but I don't like caps. I used to work at circuit city installing audio and video. For the power I am going to run it will be better with a battery. I like to have to much rather than to little. less strain on everything. Plus I am going to upgrade the alt any way. theres a place that takes it a i think they wind it tighter. gets you better performance out of it, even if u werent going to put a system in ur car.

I am not sure, the optima base are square. there are screws that hold the battery trey, then you put in the battery, and then there is a top piece that screws down. I saw it in a msp, I think pirana had one. heres a link to one (there are a ton of them).

I think so, a guy I used to work with got it done. he was in a bunch of comp and at one point was first or second in his class. He had 6 L7 12" Kickers, it hurt to stand out side of his truck. the guy that helped build his box is going to help me with mine. I'm not going for loud, and deff want to keep the weight down. I'ts only a one L7 10" kicker, but it will be clean as all get out. I'll post picks here when i get it done.
