Resonator in place of cat?

can anyone let me know if the possibility of putting a resonator in place of the cat would work cause i keep getting the infamous 0421 CEL code and i bought my MSP with a 3" custom exhaust already on it and the deleted the cat and resonator. i know about the mil eliminator and the resistor thing. but if the resonator wont work could someone direct in how to get the MIL eliminator

It will not work, you need to try the non fouler method. That is the cheapest way of getting rid of the CEL from not having a cat.

even still, a resonator is just like a muffler. It wouldnt cure any CEL issues.

Alright guys thanx alot. im new to the msp community. ive been doin cars for awhile but it seems like these bad boys are hardheaded
