Yeah, they're not the prettiest things, but they're light (~16lbs, I think) and it makes a TREMENDOUS difference in acceleration! Plus, I picked 'em up for $200! If anyone is looking for cheap wheels that fit and are light, look at these! Love 'em so far!

What brand/size tires do you have? I have a set sitting on my balcony. I just need to put tires on them. I figure 225/55/16s are perfect. I'm thinking of painting them also, just for the hell of it. I'm also thinking 245/50/16 drag radials too. We'll see.

i had a set on but i couldnt stand the wheel gap. they're staying off til i get some springs. otherwise they were one of the better purchases for the ms3. and remember to look for the reinforced ones.

1) What is the offset on them?
2) I've got 205/60/16 snow tires that I need to get mounted.... I think those are 8" rims which would be too wide for a 205 tire....
There's a guy selling those FD3's near me but I haven't pulled the trigger on them.
50 offset.. 16x8
stock tire size would be 225.50
plus size would be 245.45
jon619.. youre one size too high on the sidewall..

245/50-16 4.8" 12.8" 25.6" 80.6" 786/mi 60MPH 9989mi 0.1%
225/50s are off by 3%, where the 225/55s are just 0.5% off. I think people are choosing the smaller size tire giving the bigger wheel gap.

I agree with you on that one. I may pick some up for a winter set, then use two for radials down the line.
