What is this exhaust on this MSP?
I cannot find it anywhere.
I am buying this MSP and I hate the looks of the exhaust, but I want to know if it is at least from a good brand that makes some power.
This is the best picture I can find.

it is probably the slant cut tip welded onto a pipe. never came across an aftermarket exhaust with that tip.
i heard the racing beat, greddy and vibrant are good exhausts for the MSP.
do a little search and you will find tons of results

well only seeing the tip doesn't actually help cuz you can weld on practically any style tip you wanted to any exhaust...

I thought it just might be a tip because I couldn't find it anywhere on protegegarage and corksport and mazdaspeedparts.com
I got to take that off. Very ugly.
I plan to get the Vibrant Turbo-back exhaust after I finish paying off the car in a year.
I emailed Vibrant and they said it adds around 5 HP and 20 lb-ft of torque.
And it is a direct bolt on. Great deal.

MSP comes with a racing beat exhaust but racing beat also makes a cat-back, which will fit on NA and turbo setups, it also isn't the same as the stock racing beat.

The muffler that comes on the MSP is a racing beat muffler.
not a full exhaust system.

If it is a stock Mazdaspeed/Bosal muffler that they just cut and welded the nasty tip onto, you gotta change it ASAP. A year is too long! :)

Very very VERY ugly
If all else fails, just buy a decent looking ebay muffler for 20 to 40 bucks, cut then weld and wa-la

so deleting the resonator will give more tone? I already got rid of the cat. I'm running the stock cat back. But it could use a lil more tone

xDJ DUBx

Yeah, all I got was exactly what I mentioned
Stock headers, stock mid-pipe, stock piping, both cats.
