To put it in simple terms, I need to do a power steering flush, and I have no idea how to do it. From what I read online I unbolt a line, put a pan under it, turn the car on, have someone turn the wheel from side to side while I pour new fluid in. I'm just not sure which part to unbolt from the pump on the MSP.
And yes, I do know how to do work on cars. I do my own oil, brakes, exhaust, tranny fluid, etc. I've just never done PS before.

I would just use a suction gun to evacuate the resovoir and refill with fresh fluid. But there has to be a drain plug on the pump. If you do go ahead and flush it becareful not to let the system run dry as I'm sure our rack is not cheap.

The rack on any car is not cheap. My buddy had an S4 and got a hole in the PS lines, ran dry and BAM .... $3500 bill to replace it.
From what I have read it's just like bleeding brakes. Helper moves steering from side to side, Changer pours fluid into reservoir. I just want to know which line I pull off of the pump (there is no drain plug, just the low pressure and high pressure lines).

how about removing the sensor on it, bet it would pump out then when you turned the wheel

There's a sensor on the power steering pump? What the hell for? As you can tell, I know squat about power steering.

Here we go. Found a good write up on ser.net:

I just looked at mine. Bet it has something to do with the rpm sensing steering rack. Not certain but yes there is one threaded into the pump.

the sensor controls IAC valve, if you turn the wheel the engine gets more load so

How much fluid do I need to buy?

I'd pick up a couple courts since you are flushing. Owners manual is mum on capacity but it can't hold much more than quart, if that.
