Stock Tire Size for our MP3s are 205/45/17, I wonder if it's Okay to put 215/40/17 on our Racing Harts. Speedometer will be 2% faster which is OK, but I'm thinking about the low profile for the 40......and with my lowered suspension springs. (Eibach 1.4fr, 1.8rr)

Any thoughts?

I believe that the MP3's did come with a smaller sidewall than the MSP's did. You shouldn't have any problems with 215-45/17's. I am on Mazdaspeed B-spec springs and have had no issues.

Ty, I'm suprised you rub with the Racing Harts. I never have, before or after springs.

my car is just full of suprises. lol

Callie's actually rubs when we corner hard now, I have no clue what her offset is on the wheels she's running now.

Fender roller is going to be rented much sooner than i had planned now

I'd say so man. Do you know of anyone else having issues with MSP's rubbing?

Had an alignment lately? You may be pushing some positive camber in the rear that's causing it. As for Callie's, I would just guess an offset that could be a little much.

both cars only rub in the rear, mine when i have a load in the car, be it people or stuff, and hers is just an offset issue.

Fender roller and i think i'll be ok

Understood. I'm just trying to understand why yours is doing it.

Just in case it wasn't clear:

Stock MSP is 215/45/17
Stock MP3 is 205/45/17

Here's a tire height calculator I created if it's useful to anyone.

Mustang Matt's tire height calculator (http://onlinedyno.com/autocalc/tires.php?startWidth=205&endWidth=215&startProfile=30&endProfile=45&wheelHeightStart=17&wheelHeightEnd=17&wheelHeightSideBySide=true&heightLimitStart=20&heightLimitEnd=27&submit=Calculate+Tire+Heights)
