???backend is lower thanthe front (COBB RSB)???

So i jsut installed a COBB RSB and i noticed now that the back fo the car sits lower than the front now. Has anyone experienced or noticed this, and why it it???

The car sits lower in the back from the factory. I always hated that and its the reason I went with coilovers instead of springs.

whew.... i though i messed something up. I never really noticed the back sitting lower before. well thanks for the reply, i feel better now. and why would springs not be good enough... the Eibachs or taller in the back than in the front. would that compensate for the lower back?

I wanted a raked look and none of the springs I looked at dropped the front substantially more than the rear.

well the teins normally give the car the raked look...not sure if they do with the ms3 but the s techs did with the p5

the eibach pro kits changed the stance to the nose being lower setup. T hated the way the front sat before. I think the rear being a tad bit higher looks good, however saying that I would prefer them to be level on coilovers/properly setup suspension

i have H&R's and my front is alot lower than the back. Are you saying that after installing a cobb RSB that it will tie the rear end down more and make it sit lower? That would be lovely!

I don't think my RSB did anything to my ride height, but maybe I just haven't noticed. Since the rear bar is preloaded when you install it, it is possible for a stiff bar to exert some force on the suspension, but not sure the Cobb is stiff enough for this.

Be aware that changing ride height based off looks may not necessarily offer the best handling, even though most lowering springs main selling point are looks! Some people prefer evenly slammed cars, but depending on shock travel, suspension geometry and corner/cross weight distribution, you could seriously F-up handling. Maybe Mazda wanted the front end a bit higher than the rear for a reason? You never really know until you get the car up on some corner weighting scales.

I don't think the front is actually higher, but rather the front opening is larger. I guess you could measure from the ground to the underbody in several places to validate that.

I have the Cobb stage 2 setup and it has a slightly raked stance to it.

Eibach pro-kit on MS3. stock sways and tires/wheels.

about 1 finger gap infront, 1 1/2 finger gap in the rear.

the front definitely sits lower than the rear, was like this with stock springs, and is still like that with eibach springs.

I've never noticed the rear being taller than the front, whoever mentioned that must have been on an uneven surface or something.

im on road magnets and the rear is slightly tucked. and fronts sit a bit higher....rides nice. but looks wise it bothers me. im def goin coilovers sooooon.
