PIC Request - White MS3 + Bronze/Gold Wheels

Tirerack for some reason only has the 2007 colors on their site, so I'm having a hard time picturing my white car with bronze/gold wheels.

Any p-chop experts out there? Anyone running White/Bronze combo?

Those MB wheels are pretty damn heavy. 26 lbs for 18's is heavier than stock.

Are you sure you want the added weight? There are prettier wheels for the same price that weigh much less.

... its 100bucks< you can't get anything as nice for that price.. for me i got the MB speed...im sure its not 28lbs... more like 25 probably less... it doesn't matter now anyways.... i love the wheels .. they look great

Those are both photo shopped and the pics on the first page were just the stockers spray painted with gold paint from lowes lol.

I'm assuming you have a CWP Speed3........I'd def go with TE37s, would look hot. I went with Bronze on Silver and it looked awesome. Painted the car, and I love the Bronze on White even more.

If looks are your only concern you may be better off going with the ones that cost 1/4 of the others price.

Yeah they're fairly heavy!

With the OEM wheels at 22lbs, and the Potenza's weighing 24lbs, you have a combined weight of 46lbs per corner.

With MB Gear's at 24.5 lbs and my choice of Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3's are about 25 lbs so over all i'm gaining 3lbs per corner. Not a big deal.

Finally got the chance to install the wheels and tires today! The tires are extremely quiet, more quiet than the stock tires. I can actually hear the turbo spool under load a lot louder, but no release through the BPV, only spool or no spool.

The car rides a lot smoother, in a Caddy sort of way. The springs tend to create a bouncy sort of feel with the higher sidewall tires. It feels sorta awkward at high speed, doesn't feel as planted as it did with the 18's. But it felt great nonetheless. I'm extremely pleased thus far. I need some snow to test it now!

Nice! It's been so cold here lately that I haven't had a chance to wash my car, so it's nice seeing them on a clean white MS3.

Good choice!

Side note, not sure what it is, but since switching to the winter wheels, I've noticed a 2-3 MPG increase on each tankful. Could be since they are lighter than the stock 18's, less mass to move, not sure.

I've lost MPG, wanna know why? Because I keep goosin the gas! I LOVE hearin the turbo spool and release. The tires are so damn quiet that you can hear the turbo over the tires or road noise. I love it!

I've got the same MB wheels with snow rubber on. I've gotten nothing but compliments on how good these things look, even from the dealership when I had the cowl creak fixed. For $100 a wheel, you really can't go wrong here.

And now I'm off to pick out some summer wheels in bronze/gold.
