Ford Probe 2.0

It is my understanding that the Ford Probe 2.0, years 94 - 97 is the same motor as the protege FS 2.0. I have found one with very low miles and wanted to make sure the bore, stroke, compression, valves, cams, etc are all the same. I am not worried about the intake, ignition or other bolt ons because i will put mine on the Ford motor.

May want to go to probetalk.com for valvetrain/head info. Those guys in the 2nd gen performace section may have something on compatabilities.

Its a Mazda motor and not a Ford
