i find that flooring it doesn't really give you that fast of acceleration. so i guess that's true.

Instead of stomping on the throttle, try rolling onto it. I found that stomping on the throttle leads to a little bit of hesitation. It isn't much but that might be way it feels that less throttle equates to acclerating more quickly. Keep in my the MS3s have an electronic throttle, not a cable like we do. I find it hard to believe that anything under WOT will give you more acceleration though. If everything is properly tuned more air = more power and more power = faster acceleration.

^ what he said. gradual pressure on the accelerator is better than stomping on it. flooring it pretty much floods the engine with fuel and air and bogs down a little.
