WTF?!?! Are these pads/rotors so troublesome that you can't get them to stop squealing? I've cleaned the brake dust off the wheels several times and I still get squeals. Whether it be mostly brief and meek squeal at the moment of complete stop or a whiner squeal rolling from 15 mph to complete stop.

I'm at 8,700~ miles and it started becoming more prevailant the past 1k miles. Took it to the dealer and they heard the squeal, but didn't find anything mechanically wrong, so they couldn't/didn't do anything.

Now, I've had various High Performance caliper, rotor, and pad combos in past cars. So I expected some variance of squeal, based on past experiences... but this is the worst I have ever had a car squeal this consistently. I am truly ready to sell/trade it if I don't find a solution.

Any suggestions? New pads? If so, what brand/spec?

Do you live in a cold area by chance? Mine have been squeeking a little now that the temps are 30-40's. I don't really remember it being a problem last year but now I have 12k miles on them.

I don't even wanna open the window to hear more of it out there, heard enough of it exiting a parking garage last week. The cashier/clerk at the ticket booth was pretty irritated by it as well.

cleaning the brake dust off the wheel has nothing to do with squeaking. i would recommend upgrading to better pads. I believe ceramic dont dust as much
