i ventured over to another forum for the first time and i was going thru some threads, and i noticed a lot of them concerning like 4 different mounts. driver and pass motor mounts trany mount and the rear diff mount. did a lot of u guys do all of these and where the gains noticable?

I did the Engine mount, and it took alot of slop out of shifting for sure, so I'd say do that and shifter bushings!

The rear motor mount is what a lot of people go with. It vibrates more than stock during idle but it makes shifting a lot easier and eliminates the 1st to 2nd gear bang. Got mine for 100 bucks. This and the test pipe were my 2 favorite mods. Easy to install and make a night and day difference. All 4 of those mounts must vibrate like crazy.

thats what i was reading, that when all of them are done that it vibrates quite a bit. but the heavy duty cp-e rear diff mount sounds like a good investment if ur gonna be launching it often

i have the awr 88durometer rear engine mount (adds slight vibration when A/C is on), Turbine tech front rear diff mount, and the turbine tech rear diff mount bushings. the only added noise you get from the diff mount stuff is a high pitch wooooing noise between 55 and 60mph which is from the differential being solid instead of sloppy like it is stock form.

Helps with daily driving as well. Don't have to try so hard for smooth shifts anymore.

takes like 45min to do rear engine mount, most of the time is to align the mounting hole back up. the rear diff mount is a bit more difficult. i had a professional do mine and it took him 2 hours.

Took me 15 minutes to install my rear motor. Very easy. Slide one out . . . slide the other in.

I did the AWR rear mount and it took an hour, mainly because the tab needed to be bent to allow clearance for the stiffer bushings.

The rear engine mount is nice. I can swap mine in or out in about 15 minutes. The turbine tech front engine mount was a different story. Took me over 2 hours but was a night and day difference. At idle there is much added vibration for the first month then dies down a little bit after that.

I havent done the rear differential mount yet but that will be the next one.

I havent heard much about the passenger side engine mount and the transmission mount. Are these that bad from the factory?

from what ive read the pass mount and the tranny mount arent nearly as soft as the other two ngine mounts but you can notice a difference after installing them. also if u go with 70 all around the vibration is minimal. once again this is onyl what ive read.

ordering my rear engine and front engine mounts today :) thanks for the help guys!
