no there isnt an actual nationwide meet put on by the people. me and a few others tried putting one on 2.5 years ago but couldnt get enough interest. we had to cut it in half and made EECMM Epic East Coast Mazda Meet. open for all mazdas. we're actually in the middle of planning our 3rd annual meet. last year we had cobb, cp-e, twm performance, mazda3mods, thexenonstore, f2usa, and mazda nation sponsor the meet along with a few others. we got a ton of free swag to give away, discounted lodging, discounted t shirts, and discounted food from the place we held the meet.

how's that? i know its not a nationwide meet but we pulled people from about 8 or 10 different states

I manage a collision repair shop for exotic and luxury cars. About 3 years ago we did a $8000 COD paintless dent repair and paint-only repair on a Lamborghini Diablo whose owner allowed scantily-clad models on his car for a photoshoot. It wasn't till I found the pics online later that I realized how his car was damaged (had been thinking hailstorm). Who knew that a girl who needed a sandwich so bad could weigh that much?

Funny thing is we also repaired a Ferrari of his which he promptly wreaked overshooting his driveway the day we delivered it to him.

Back to the topic, why not plan the meet around another meet so there is more to do. Hyperfest is a good one on the eastcoast.

I posted the link in above post. This year it was June 21, partially sponsored by Mazda and its always at SummitPoint Motorsports Park. Drift nationals, car show which Mazda gets its own section, some driving experience track time for racers wanna-bes or going-to-bes, music, moon-bounces for kids, our MazdaSpeedy3 EvoII may be there entered in time attack, blah, blah, blah.

The 2 best other places in N Carolina/Tennesee for car meets is where-ever the Biltmore Mansion is for obvious photoshot opportunities and Fontana Village/Deals Gap for the Tail of the Dragon. I've done a couple meets w/ Italian exotic cars at Deals Gap which were loads of fun. Will have to figure out how to load video on youtube, Have a great clip passing a sport-bike racer while in a F-40 and his 'WTF did you come from?' reaction is priceless.

dude joe there are a ton of people on the west coast that are wanting to do this. ever since they saw how the east coast one was a nice turnout. i know they tried getting something 2gether and drew up a lot of interest but they didnt follow through with it. i'd recomend trying it urself just dont stop till it happens

driveslow, its taking place at tail of the dragon, most people will be staying in robbinsville, nc. but you are more than welcome to stay where you like.
