I need new inner tie-rods and all the parts sites say there is a separate canadian model one. how do i know? in the door it says 'made in japan'.

Does your Speedometer read in MPH or KPH?

KMH in large font and then MPH in smaller font. typical of all canadian model cars. Japan only model will have ONLY kmh.

If it was ment for the Canadian market, then it will have the larger KPH, meaning its canadian. Thats really all there is to it, although, i have no idea why there would be a difference in suspension parts between CDM and USDM.

and like you said, no friggin clue what/why the difference.
