I have a 06 ms6 when the ac is on the compressor makes a unbelievably loud clicking, sounds like a can inside a can rattling! Took it to the dealer they said it was the ac clutch! So they put a new ac and ac clutch on and now it is louder then ever! has anyone else had this problem of heard of it! It is incredible annoying!

not a good sign, no. But at least winter's around the corner so if the AC does go out it wont affect you in that way...in the meantime, I'd look around for other opinons asap...

The dealer said they replaced the compressor once...

What exaclty do you mean other options?

i meant you should shop around for other places to get the work done/estimated...

need to check your drive belt tensioner, they are know to go bad and when your a/c is on, adding more load the the belt, you will be able to hear all kinds of noise from the tensioner.

Check to see if i only happens when the a/c is on and if it does after the car is warmed up.

Very true. Mine did this for a while and was driving me insane. Took it to the dealer and you have to tell them make sure the car is warmed up and the a/c is on or they will not hear it.

i have a similar problem. for me it sounds like the ac fan inside the car is making a clicking noise when you turn on the ac. it drives me crazy. it sounds like a baseball card hitting against a bicycle tire

Yeah the car has to be warm, and the a/c on! So when i take it back i will tell them to check the tensioner!

They replaced the a/c and a/c clutch now they just say its normal, so i am trying to find out if it is normal or they just dont wanna look further into it!
