Whats the offset of the 18" wheels on the 2009 .. I think the bolt pattern is 5 x 114.3 same as the Honda etc.
Also has anyone put out or looked into springs to drop the car a bit .. the ads look nice but in R/L they have a pretty good wheel gap.
Will lowering create camber issues?

No confirmation yet, but it looks like it's around the same offset as the 1g Mazda6 at around +50-60mm.

If you have the stock wheels off, you can look at the back-side. Usually the offset is stamped there...

Eibach made some lowering springs for the 09 mazda 6. I haven't pulled the trigger on them yet

You can go with a 40 offset, and as far as lowering goes, only Eibach makes springs for both the V6 and the 2.5 4 cyl. just a diff. part Nr. due to spring rate. But I would not lower the GT models diff. shocks than GS model. Untill they come out with coilovers for the car. Lowered my first 04 M6 GT, blew hte shocks with in 6 months.
