hey guys i'm thinking of getting a set of tokico high performance gas shocks for my 99 protege. car runs great, but its like driving a boat sometimes, and the shocks are starting to get pretty loud. Anyone have some good or bad things to say about these shocks? are they nice and quiet? handle infinitely better than stock?

there the same ones on the msp. mine work great, my rear is sagging a little but i also have 2 12"" subs in the trunk. otherwise, no complaints.

I have the Tokico Blues and a Eibach Pro-Kit and AWR 21.5mm rear sway bar with adjustable endlinks and my car handles like its on rails, so if you were to do the same setup I'm sure you would be satisfied with your choice. As for it being quiet, they don't make any noise, but go slow over pot holes and shit because it tends to be a rough ride when ur car slams on the ground and you scrape your header (in my case since I have a header) on the ground and hear it grind it makes you cringe at the sound of it.
