Will these tires fit ?

on the new wheels I picked up for a steal the tires are a bit larger than stated for the MS3.

215/55/17 - overall diameter is 26.3

vs Stock 215/45/18 overall diameter of 25.6

will this 3/4 of an inch cause rubbing ?

Sorry if I missed it in a different post, what are the wheel specs? I would think you're OK.

Not 100% sure on the offset.....they came off a 2004 RX8 for winter use.

These are

215/55/17's

Hmmm. If they're 18x8s, I suspect the offset is +50.

well, there's only one way to have found out....I mounted them and tried them :)

All is good.....98%. They will rub ever so lightly over larger dips in the road if I'm up to more than average speeds. They will also touch just a bit if I turn into a parking lot and over the gutter too fast.

No big deal overall though as it's only if I'm going too fast or probably faster than I should, so it's a reminder to me to drive better ;)

For the money, I'm very happy to have a like new set of Blizzarks on OZ Wheels (thumb)

I am going to a buddy's body shop this week and we're going to move the inside wheel well liners back about .5-1" or so. Enough to keep the tires from rubbing it at least. Looks to be plenty of room and ability to pull them back and make it work.
