rear speakers no sound?

the 3rd row rear speakers have no sound.. i have the 08 cx-9 GS.. though it says it has 6 speakers why does it have 2 extra "speaker look alikes" in the rear? are they just dummies?

Never seen a CX but are you sure they arent subs ?

You don't have Bose right? Those are probably for the Bose system.

My speed does have bose. Next time I hop in my car ill look back there but off the top of my head I only noticed one large speaker that was a subwoofer. Also when you listen play a few songs. I would change stations a few times and keep your ear there. Some speakers function for the surround sound effect and therefore are not always on.

If you dont have the Bose, then those are empty grills. The Bose adds tweeters there, as well as the center dash and subwoofer.

The 6 speakers are 2 dash tweeters, and 4 door woofers.

I have 11 speakers Bose.
- 3 on dash.
- 2 front doors
- 2 rear doors
- 2 near rear side windows
- 1 in front of DVD
- 1 SUB under cargo cover on driver side.

yeh i there just empty grills, u guys were right.. those are for the Bose system.
