Your thoughts on these wheels?

Okay, I found a nice set of OZ O.Z. Superleggera Wheels and want your thoughts/input on style and if the package is a good deal.

They came off a co-workers car and fit the Speed 3 just perfectly.

215/55R17 size with Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50's on them. Tread is plenty good 70% plus.

Cost $600.

Is this a good deal? What are your thoughts the wheels in general too?

17s might look a tad small on the MS3, but they are a high quality lightweight wheel that looks nice, and it would be a good deal if you are able to use the snow tires

Those wheels new cost about $1300+. Good quality light wheels. Grab them!

WOW.....so it sounds like the wheels alone are a good deal. I know he paid about $1,400 plus for the set a few years ago.

I'm very, very likely going to pick them up tomorrow. Just need to look them over good and make the deal. Kinda makes me wish they were 18's so I could use them as my summer wheels :)

Not his beetle, but he has one just like it. I grabbed that image off the web since the wheels are exactly the same.

I may just do what you said.....only I'll ride with them as is this year, perhaps two even until the rubber needs replaced, then sell them and get something else if I feel the urge.

My buddy is single and makes great coin. He has four cars too :eek:

I just tt. him and sealed the deal. The tires only have 15,000 miles on them, so for WS50's that's pretty good I think.

No. They are 5X100 with offsets in the 30s IIRC. The picture might be pulled off the web to show you what the wheels look like. Those look like 18s on the VW anyway.

absolutely....jumped right on them after reading the first few replies to my post.

the really nice thing is I have the original receipt and paperwork to the place that they came from. fro $25, the charge for a rotation, they will remove my stock wheels, store them and mount the winter set. same deal in the spring., mount and store my winter set for me.

I could do it myself, but for $25 and not having to take up space in my garage, easy decision for me.
