Mazda Bug Deflector has crack!

Was about to open the hood to add (for the first time) some windshield wiper fluid. It was then I had noticed a crack from the screw right to the front edge, about an inch long on the bug deflector. Now I had the Mazda dealer install it five weeks ago (at a cost) so I am phoning them to replace the shield. Definitely think the screw or whatnot was too tight, can't think of it being my fault. Any comments?

Definitely installer error. Shouldn't have been so tight. Or so you can argue. :)

They might try and say that you hit something since it took so long to notice.

I'd just argue... :D

Took the Mazda 5 GS into today at the dealer. No problem in getting it replaced and inserted.
