Got an issue here that I am hoping some of you may be able to help me out with. I've got an '02 Protege LX 2.0 with 105,000km. This problem has been occurring for about a year now, since the car was at about 88,000km.
Whenever I turn on my wipers, there's an odd, but distinct sound that is produced every time the wiper arms "go down". It sounds like a higher pitched "oooop" or "whooop" everytime. It appears to be coming from somewhere to the left of the steering wheel... I have ruled out my wiper blades as I have replaced them with new ones, and the same occurs.
Has anyone else experienced the same? Or any suggestions?
Thanks!
