Agreed on the hood stripes, they're usually a little too flashy for me on other colors. To tell you the truth TR was my first choice but the dealership had a MGM at the time, and the more I looked at it, the more appealing it became to me.

I wanted TR or black, but dealer only had metro gray or sunlight silver... and I honestly thought it looked really plain. I think every MGM owner has trouble deciding what color wheels to go with. Personally I like the gunmetal rims posted by Mpower.

They look way better in person. I hope to get some new pics next week and i will post. The wheels are MB Boost and i got them at Discount tire. They are gun metal gray.

Tint looks good... i've been debating on getting it done but I wasn't sure how 35% would look on our car. Probably something i'll do in the spring. (cool)

i was never a fan of 7 spoke wheels, doesn't mean they don't look good, just not my taste. The color matches the car well though.

I seen those pics, they look real good!

However..i'm a firm believer that dark wheels look AMAZING on our darker colors, and the stock to lighter color wheels look fantastic on the lighter colors. Just a slight observation.

If you could get the "millenium" finish on your stock MS3 wheels, your car would look hot in those pictures!!!

My MGM MS3 isnt worthy enough to post any pictures in this thread yet........I do however want to get some oppinions on some ideas I have for her though.

What do you guys think about a CF hood on the MGM? I'm having some rock chip repair done and a complete CF hood works out to be about the same cost as the hood repair.

In general how do you think CF looks against the MGM paint? There are a few parts available in CF and apparently alot more on the way from Street Unit. I havent seen any MGM's with CF yet though.

I agree, the vents and what not are too much for the MS3. I was thinking about the Fiber Images OEM hood.

I've thought about the hyper black as well, hurry up and get them so we can see them! I also think the gloss black looks pretty good but I prefer somehting a little lighter in color, maybe a gunmetal or anthracite.

lol Its even more fun when you beat someone in a MS3 or at least it is around here. There are a ton of SS/SC's around me, but I am one of 2 MS3's I know of in the area. So when people hear the turbo they go (eek2)!! Makes me laugh every time.

If I had gone new, this probably would've been the color that I'd get. Silver was my #1 choice by far... love how the exterior matches the wheels. While MGM's wheels don't contrast nearly as much as say... the black MS3... I still feel it would've been better served with some gunmetal wheels instead of the bright silver stockers. In fact, that's the 1st mod I would've done.. no question. Sort of curious why I haven't seen any... powder coating the stock wheels a darker shade would really do wonders for this car.

yes it is. one day i just finished washing my car, it was peak daylight and i asked my mom and stepfather what color did the car look to them and we all said three different colors. my mom said slate gray, dad said slate blue and i saw slate green. gotta love it. looks great when the sun is setting or clouds are rolling through a sunny day changing the lighting

The gold color, like the STI and 350Z brembos would look good on MGM. I was thinking red though myself.

I have red calipers on my MGM and it looks good IMO. With stockers they are fairly low-key due to the limited spacing between the spokes. I will try to post some picts asap. I went with the red to accent the red details in the interior.

COBB TIP and SRI. This was a great addition to the car.
Acceleration is so much smoother. It's way loud though, you can really hear the turbo spool up.
Sorta rice if you ask me but I suspect I'll get used to it.

Hand made short throw shifter plate. Reduced the throw by 35 - 40%.
I also made a new weight to replace the factory shifter weight. This is the way the car should have shifted from the factory. It's really nice now.
It was like driving a slot machine before.

I was going to put them on cuz it's the down force that I need, the front of the car always seems so floaty to me, I refuse to lower the car, cuz it's a everyday driver even in the snow so, no need for the car to be a plow, plus I'm so over lowering cars, getting to old I guess..

This is the color i want for the Rota G-Forces. In person how do they contrast/look with the MGM? . Are they more black than gray or vice-versa. Any feedback would be appreciated as I've been on the fence on these wheels for a long time because the color looks different in every pic I see.

The wheels are actually more grayish ,than black. The wheels have a metallic clear-coat finish. Depending on the light,there is even a hint of bronze in the color.

Thanks. Like many of you, when it came to rims, color choice was a tough one. Wanted darker than stock but still have contrast. Looked at dk grey and black but rims disappear into tires and wheel wells. Thus this lighter grey.

I'm so jealous of you MGM owners. A quick look at the car, one will say it's just another black car. Upon closer inspection, it's such a unique color!
