Is the IS-F potentially “too much” for you? If so what about a “baby” IS-F with the Lexus IS 250 Sports Concept?
And it seems that this little wonder has just showed-up at the Australian International Motor Show. Simply put this IS Sport Concept is an IS-F but without its 5l V8 engine. Nevertheless Toyota worked hard to tuned-up this concept with a more powerful 2.5l V6 engine which develop 213hp, as well as receiving sport shock absorbers and springs from Blistein, improved breaking system, 19” wheels, enlarged air intake and cat-back exhaust, a new sport clutch with short-shift kit, carbon fiber engine cover and restyled spoilers and skirts.
A very interesting move from Toyota/Lexus since for many the IS-F is far from being always finically and technically accessible for all.

That actually looks really nice IMO. It's doubtful the production version (if any) would have the same brakes/wheels/exhaust as the concept but I'd seriously consider looking into one of those. The only thing that is disappointing is the 213 hp V6 - what are they thinking when you could easily get more HP and better efficiency with a turbocharged 4 cylinder?

All these parts are TRD parts that are available at the parts counter.

Indeed. Still, for a 2.5L V6 it needs to pack more than 204 HP and get better than 18/26 city/highway mpg (according to Lexus' website). I still say a turbocharged 4-cylinder would have been the way to go.

Hopefully they've improved this car a lot. I drove an is250 when the first came out, and it rode like crap. It felt like a friggen kia.

No Lexus should be producing only 213hp. They can add all the handling parts and bling they like....slow is still slow.

A BMW 328i would leave a IS 250 in the dust.
