valve seals

i need to replace my valve seals does anyone know how to do this? also does anyone know the torque specs for the head, or know where i can get a parts diagram or a service manual from?

ive never done it on a protege, but on a former car, i had to remove the camshafts, spring retainers, and springs. its a lot easier if you have the head off. if you arent taking the head off, then youd have to pressurize the cylinders so the valves dont drop into them. here's the service manual, that will hopefully have more info.

in protege's, you have to remove the cams anyway to take off the head. the bolts are behind them.
