Well boys its been a pleasure sharing info and getting info on here but i have moved on as of today, my CX7 hit 140 000km, so it was time to get rid of it, i went and got me a 2008 Nissan Pathfinder LE V8, and i love it while its a different vehicle all together its still a fun unit, i will miss my CX but it was time before things started to break, and i did not do too bad on the trade in 2007 AWD GT with 140 km, i got real cash $18 500, the pathfinder was $51 000 there was a credit of $8000 i ended up getting it for $43 000 less the trade in of $18 500.
I will check in once inawhile and you have a blast zoom zooming, i just needed a bigger unit and the CX9 was not it, as i really need a real 4WD.

after realizing now that the fuel economy on the CX-7 is less than stellar I cant say I fault your decision, but as a newb here I can say from looking at posts you are a faily active member so thats too bad.. anyway you cant go wrong with that nissan they are great trucks and im betting you will spend about the same on gas...

Congrats! I've driven the V6's and they were fast...the V8 must be a rocket.

The V8 has 319 HP and weighs only 5325lbs so yes it is a rocket, and will be better when the Hypertech programmer and Nismo intake are in, and i might take out the Cats as well.

I am thinking as far as the size difference and all that IMO its not a big difference considering there is a 5.6L V8 in there, 3rd row seats.

full of win here.

sorry for the loss and congrats for the new truck. i did choke a little when i saw the 5319lbs, but i am used to small cars. my rx7 is 3000 lbs on a full tank with me in it.

Well what i meant was the fact that its not the heaviest of the bunch, but sure is quicker tham the most 7 seater SUV'S, i had a 2007 LTZ tahoe, i also had a Rental Aspen for 2 weeks and its faster than both, and more comfortable than both....

Sorry to hear you are leaving.
Congratulations on your new ride.

Yes mine CX is 3650lbs
My 70 Bug is 1700 lbs.

So combined they do not way as much as your new ride.
Interesting my old 2500 Extended Cab Long Bed Chevy truck weighed only 4200lbs.

With that motor it should go okay straight just watch the stops and turns.
