Damn Dome Light!

My dome light won't illuminate when opening the doors. It will only work manually. This is not a huge deal really but I am just amazed that we can't figure this out.

Yes I have tested pretty much everything
-tested door triggers all good
-tested fuses all good
-tested/confirmed wires have good connection and continuity all the way.

Any help?

stupid question but is the switch on? Theres three ways you can switch it. Just asking

^ yeah, what he said. there's "on", "off", and "door" which turns it on only when the door opens.

Yes, it is a retarded question, but i've been victim to something as simple as this (my glovebox light wouldn't turn on, until i found out the headlights had to be on for the glovebox light to turn on.....:rolleyes:).

if there is something wrong with the gauge cluster or its wiring, then the dome lights won't work right
