I'm here for the long run wth my early '07. I usually keep cars for 150k miles or more unless they fall apart like the POS Mercedes I had last (it had to go before the warranty ran out and bankrupted me). The MS3 certainly ranks extremely high in the fun per dollar department and as far as reliability it has been just fine except for a few niggy things that are mostly my fault.

I got my MS3 in Jan '07 but have constantly lurked here since June '03. This site has changed alot from simply informative and a great place to post pics of mods, to an entertaining community of Mazda owners and lovers. I miss alot of the straightforward and non-condecending help and suggestions but I am addicted to the greatest collction of one-liners, jokes, and comebacks mixed in with lots of info if you search enough. I forget when the hell I bought mine and I'm not going out to check the registration, but when the engine finally dies I'll replace it with a forged unit and bolt on a bigger turbo. I effin love this car.

Nov 06 and here in another guise well before that for the months of speculation about whether it would be truly kickass or just a mite better than the MSP. I was a true believer and made the jump from my year old MS6. It was and is a perfect fit for me and I couldn't be happier. I do suffer from AWD envy every now and again, though, and just might take a test drive in the '09 Rex and maybe even the '10 Ralliart Sportback if people have any success getting more juice out of the '09 RA coupe. I think it would have to be a hell of a test drive to get me to switch. I still hold out hope that Forzda will give us a small 3-based AWD.

January of 2007. But I ordered mine in October of 2006. I wanted bone stock Sport, no expensive BS add-ons, like wheel locks or "pin-striping". I originally only posted here to figure out a HU install regarding whether the display screen would still work.......but then became addicted. Just over 10,000 miles, no problems besides recalls.......and oh yeah, the asshole neighbor the other day telling me I "need to slow the FUCK down....or the next step is the COPS!", despite me driving the posted 25 mph speed limit. What's a brother to do when your ride just looks and sounds so fast it apparently looks like it is going 55 mph in a 25 mph in 2nd gear. Yeah, other than that type of BS, great car.

And SwampAss is the funniest mofo around here! Too bad with the new job, he does not have time for posts like the mock AP post he had earlier in the year. Yes, I could go for more of those!
