I always hated reading the "I hate my MSP" threads. And however i would never say that i "Hate" my baby, i am starting to understand all the frustration. Putting my minor accedent aside, i feel like the car is less reliable each day. Im not a heavy tuner, i dont have the thousands of $ in parts under the hood. Accually engine wise its stock right down to the factory battary, and engine coolent. Either way its not the engine thats been worrying me as of late. I seen to always hear some un normal noises coming from the wheels and suspention. Obviously the Rear swaybar and bushings need some lube, but that aside, there are other noises as well. from the front, there is a periotic "Tick" when im slowing down for a stop. Seems to only show its self when im breaking. i inspected the break pads+rotors all seems well. In other news, when im driving highway, the car seems to bounce a little, i was thinking i might need to balance tires? (let me know what else would cause this)
I dont think i would ever say that i "Hate" this car. I just wish it would run, as good as it looks.

I also suspect the Alternator is going to die soon. sometimes from Idle when the fans kick in the car almost stalls. driving at night with Hi's on when i shift and the RPM drop i notice a pritty big change in the lights. There are other things about the car that are bugging me as well. I might get into that later

just take care of the MSP.. im rolling out with 124k miles now and slightly modded since 96k miles.. Mods are in my sig, and im still rockin the stock LSD (knocks on wood).. I plan to do a few more mods while its parked over the winter.. This has been said before, all cars have their specific problems, not matter what kind of car you drive.. Take care of it and it will return the favor (for the most part, other than common problems)

the hops sound like an unbalanced tire. just might need a new battery not a new altinator if you are having problems when fans kick on or when running lights. what kind of battery you have? with the hid's i would think you should upgrade the battery

have you had the tires balance checked? i think that may be one of your problems. how old is you battery? it may be time for a new one, i would upgrade to something like an optima redtop

Have you checked to see if there's a nail in your tire?

yes, i jacked the car up and pulled off the tire. There is nothing as obvious as a nail. The tires are finished, thats for sure, just waiting till winter to get new ones.

I thought the car bouncing around would be the struts starting to go...

This car is notorious for idle issues when load is put on the electrical system. I had to replace my battery after about 12 months but on top of that, look up maf relocation for the stalling if it's not already relocated.
99% sure your worn tires are causing or have led to the hop and can cause other problems to arise...mis-alignment blown strut!

70 000 km... is like 50k miles.
ill look in to a red top this weekend and let you know.
Also the engine is stock, so why relocate the MAF. I though that you only had to do that if you got rid of the bPV and went BOV only without re-circ

50k miles on the stock battery is a good life but i would deff say get a new one... like they said above look into a red top that will deff change alot for you and take a huge strain off of your alternator... and man if your tires are bald, just get new ones and go from there... u could have caused other damage by running on bald tires... and relocating the MAF has other advantages then just being able to run a BOV... there are threads all around that talk about relocating the MAF take a look at them

turns out there was another pipe that was busted, and the douche put tape over it to cover it up thinking it would solve the problem...

Glad to have a number to it I figured only a few psi...you can suck a higher vac to like 10 since your using more muscles vs just lung power.
