I like mine. I went from a Jeep Grand Cherokee so it took a little while to get used to not sitting up higher. I have the V6, so it definately has plenty of power and gets surprisingly good gas mileage for the size of the engine.

how do you guys like the new 6?
likes: better bose system, plenty of power in v6, upgraded material in its class, 18" wheel (even my rdx only have 18" stock).
dislike: huge fender gap, 4000-5000k xenon bulb (it looks more yellowish), nav system (i think my nav have problems, the destination point is always off from the actual place, wth?!)

thats actually pretty typical. my garmin is the same way, usually a few houses off.

i guess i'm spoiled by acura's nav, its always precise to the spot.
dang cheap denso corp crap! i wonder if i can still use steering wheel controls if i change to aftermarket in-dash nav?

I'm averaging around 20mpg, whereas with my Jeep I was getting like 15. When I went to Ohio last month, I got 27mpg.

Going thru the car wash tunnel, an employee got into the Jeep Commander ahead of mine, put it in reverse, and hit the gas!

Hit hard enough to deploy the airbag, and lock the shoulder straps. The car was empty at the time. $7500 damage.

I got mine on 11-13-08. The best choice I've made so far for a car. I used to own an 2007 Audi A4 2.0T. Didn't really like the A4 because of the body roll. OMG it's bad. Handling was very nice on the A4 but just the body roll. The Mazda 6 is very nicely build. Lot of leg rooms, huge tunck, keyless entry, and alot more. The boss system was very nice, I don't have any problem with the navi (yet), but I find that the car was quite heavy and a bit slower to start, but I think that's all V6 car problem. All in all it's a very beautiful car and it have a good sports and luxury feels to it.

NO one got I-4 (4cyl), I like the 6spd MT option and leather+heated seats , GT touring is my preference w/o navi/sunroof , 25k is not cheap but compare to competitors it is one of the best :)

PPL that have MT , give your impression on the tranny/gear/OEM clutch performance.

This would be a good choice for family car even though i'd get 6spd MT 4cyl one :)

MTX is pretty good, first gear is kinda useless on it (I usually can't stay in at any higher than 10mph if I'm trying to keep the RPMs below 4k), but I guess that's a side effect of a I4 moving a very heavy car... I really like the clutch though, it moves nice and has a pretty large sweet spot, all in all not bad, better than my subi... I'm sure with some performance mods (short shifter) I'll really fall in love with it

Hah hopefully it materializes.... On another front CP-E was looking for a project car for a CAI ot I volunteered my 6 for, it hasn't materialized yet (bang) hopefully I hear something
