You can get them from the TWM site, you can download the PDF file. Simple install, just make sure you get the reverse spring set right...

they send perfect instructions with the kit. I installed mine last night along with the shifter bushings and counter weight shift knob. It was cake! And i am VERY impressed.

I'd suggest doing the shifter bushings too, they make the real difference.

I did mine by myself in less than 20 minutes. I had pre downloaded the install instructions and had it memorized.

Mine took me 45min by myself because I was sent the bushings for a MS6... Its very straight forward otherwise.

yes I installed mine by myself. took me a little bit longer cause I didn't have a torx 20 wrench, but i finally just used pliers and got the damn thing off. lol. everything else was butter.

Oh well, even the simplest of jobs can be tough if you dont have the proper tools. At least it worked for you.

Yep I had everything but the torx wrench, so it held up things quite a bit. Its a really simple install, my most favorite upgrade yet!

Here is mine with the stock boot. It does bunch up a bit but it hasnt had any problems wearing or getting in the way.

If you order from TWM website, do you have to pay duty since they are in Canada?

Looks Great. i was hoping to talk to someone that has installed one of twm's ball shifters. How do you like it? i have large hands and the stock shifter feels way to small for me. does that one feel larger?

almberg32

its not too much bigger but it fits for me. the ball shifter is probably the biggest that your gonna get. its' nice

Unless you tap a pool ball, I saw someone do that with the 3 ball.

Matt, you could tap a blue dot cue ball. Go with the white speed3.

I installed mine this morning - couldn't pass up the sale. I've had my MS3 for almost 2 years and can't figure out why I didn't do this sooner - I guess I needed the sale to hook me. Anyway, this is an excellent mod. Even after all the time with the MS3, I would mis-shift from time to time with the stock shifter - just too much arm movement. Now with the TWM, I drove 130 miles today mostly in the hills with lots of twisties - not one missed shift all day. My MS3 now shifts exactly how I want it to.

I also repeated one small mod that I had done to tighten up the slop in the stock shifter. The cup that the shifter ball sits in fits loosely in my car - you can almost rattle the shfiter. Anyway, I cut some pices of plastic to use as shims to put between the cup and the main shifter housing and now my shifter has almost no slop at all.

Anyone try shortening the stock boot so it doesn't bunch up? I haven't taken mine apart yet so I'm not sure if this is possible... I noticed TWM sells a shorter boot but I'd rather not spend an extra $48.95 if I don't have to.

MM BOOST

I dont know why you would need a smaller boot. I just adjusted mine so it lines up and is not twisted and I am not having any problems with the shift boot.
