hi ive only had my car for a week now mazda mx5 year 2000 1.6 and just noticed my abs light doesnt come on wen turnin ignition on like it should then go off could this be cos the dealer has taken the bulb out or maybe a fuse gone any suggestions would be fab thank u

Hmmm...not sure about the 2000 models.
But you should definitely check your fuses and the bulb because...yes...stealerships DO actually do stuff like that.

yes as u can c were it should be wen sun shines on dash bored also its in the handbook i thought the same wen i 1st bought it thats y i neva even thought of it

Well...that doesn't necessarily mean you have it.
You'll need to pop the bonnet to be sure.

Its the silver box next to the fuse box (upper left).

The dashboard may be a "common item" that has that function possible whether you get ABS or not. They don't usually have separate dashboards, based on an option.
