i didnt even want to attempt it, but i had a well known perfomance shop in my area do it, and it took them 4.5 hours with the best guy. good luck if you decide to do it. i have a corksport dp.

yea i did mine myself and it took me a full day...alot of the time was spent trying to find a torch to cut the bolts off the bottom of the stock dp, and building up the courage to drop the engine down 4 in. lol

Ok I see that isn't too easy. Well the thing is that Im thinking to buy one but Im gone to install it and I saw many post of how to... with pics and all the instructions so i though there was one for this too. Anyway thanks and maybe I choose the corksport.

its not which one you choose. the mazdaspeed 6 is just one of the hardest turbo cars out there to swap a dp. You can go with any brand you want to, but it is still going to be a bit*h to install. The pre cats are too big to fit easialy out of the top and the bend that goes to the turbo is to big to fit out of the bottom, so you have to move your engine around a bit to get the first pre cat out of the top of the engine bay. that is probably the worst part of the install...everything else is just getting off bolts that have fused on, and unscrewing bolts you cant see..ya just need a lot of patience
