I am just about to close a deal for $5700 cash (not that it really matters) on my 2002 Mazda Protege ES :' (

I am selling my very loved 2002 Mada Protege ES (the highest model besides the Mazdaspeed). The color is Black Mica. It gets 28/29 MPG city driving and mid 30's on the highway. This car has always been driven like a "grandma" and babied despite its appearance and extras. Has 91k miles acquired from school and work highway commuting. Will be inspected before sold until October 2010.

its modded, so u cant expect to get the same as a bone stock ES. but 5700 is a decent selling price. I had my (ES as well) appraised a couple of years ago and was offered 7, 8 if i took it all the way back to stock

It has only been on the market for a week and have had interest. I would just like the nice transition between this car and my new one once delivered (doesn't everyone..)

for an 02 thats "relatively" stock, but modded, price sounds about right. gotta keep in mind that the car was never HUGEly popular and its 6 years old.
