Good choice...07, how many miles? Price? Not sure what you're looking for as a response, but my suggestion is just make sure that all the TSB's are up to date on it (dealer should take care of that for ya) and hopefully its a good price.

oh yes i forgot.........it is a 2007 grand touring 23,400 miles...........there asking 20995 but im going to offer around 19 to 19500 drive out. They are desperate in trying to sell it. How does that sound to yall im basically offering trade in value to them. :) I hope all goes well i would love to be speed 6 owner. Once i drove my friends couple years ago i was hooked

That's not bad, although they were going new in early 2008 for around 20k (that's what I paid for mine with 88 miles on it, although its a Sport). You should be fine getting one for under 20k. And yes, it's the most fun car I've ever owned, so I can't complain. I'm sure many others on here would agree.

welcome to the boards :)
23000 miles is a bit high for an 07, so you may be able to get that 19. typically, your only gonna see that price on an 06

You should be able to get it for 19-19.5 that car listed for about 26 plus new so thats not bad. I paid 20 out the door for my 06sport with 12k on it. IF tuner bought a new one for 20k, I want to take him when I buy my next car !!!!!

I think it was simply a matter of right place right time. There were 4 on their lot and they wanted to get rid of them. With S-plan, rebates, and other deductions, I ended up at $20,300 for a $29,155 vehicle.

okay i plan after hurricane ike i live in clear lake(between galveston and houston but houston address), lol im riding it out hopefully iA everything will be okay........but ya next week i hope to go check it out. i have some questions for yall speed 6 enthusiasts.......... First is a CAI worth it? will it affect gas mileage? .......Second what about a BOV?..and dont worry gas is not to much of a problem for me i am just curious. And will any of that void factory warranty??.........All information and tips would be greatly appreciated thanks for the welcome guys.

CAI is worth it, and I've heard if anything it raises mileage (though this could be completely wrong) and won't void the warranty unless you hydrolock it, then you're SOL. BOV is pretty much just for looks (sound) unless you're pushing more then stock boost...
19k sounds like a pretty good price, maybe even try a little less with those miles? I bought (two weeks ago) an 06' Sport with 4k on it for 20k.

no from what i saw it was fine but i liked the red better:) im a sucker for a redhead! but if i was you i would go and get the carfax from them the day you decide to get it. trust me. if you can get it profesionally inspected do it. the screwed me on mine. they rushed everything, but it was also my fault for letting them.
when i got the car home i found out that the car was in a minor fender bender and that my left rear wheel was bent beyone repair. i got them to get me a new wheel, now im going to try to get them to knock a few thousand dollars from the price of the car.

i got great idea though.......you want them to fix up your ms6 then tell them when you go that you have someone that will buy there GT from them and you will refer them if they fix up your car or give you some money back. It might work pretty well?? win win for both of us

Look it up on Kelly Blue Book online to see the suggested price.
I did a quick search and it said $25,255 for the 2007 GT. It seems like a lot of miles for a one year old car so maybe you can get them talked down on price.
Good luck. I love this car!

well i was looking for that 2007 speed 6 GT 23500 miles on clock, at jeff haas here in houston. I went to dealer me and my father. and they asked 22500 drive out including tax and title. We offered 19000 drive out tax and title they rejected because they said there going way below trade in value basically 19 drive out is getting that car at like 17500.?? So i duno was my offer to low its way below kelly blue book for 07 GT...advice would be nice. I hope im meant to be in speed 6 god wills. well see i guess

19,000 sounds kind of low to me too. 20, 21 sounds more legitimate. I purchased my 2007 GT speed6 brand new(sitting on the lot for a year) in March of 2008 tax and title for 26,500. However I have no moonroof or navigation, does the GT your looking at have either one?

Exactly. Mazda offered $4500 cash-back on them and dealers were selling well below invoice....but the seller of the car you're looking at only cares about his bottom line. Just let them know you're shopping subarus and audis and give them hard numbers on what you can buy for $18,500. Then tell him you'll offer $19,000 since it looks like a nice car...and stick to your guns. If they don't take it, go home. They'll call you in a few days to make a deal.

I know, but, statistics prove that manual cars are more difficult to move on used car lots. Just suggesting something that might be worthwhile. If it's been sitting on the lot, it may be because it's a manual.

True, my wife and I have been eyeing a Jeep wrangler 6spd that's been sitting on a lot for over a month. We looked at it a few weeks ago and they have called us every few days since. sticks are tough to sell because you can't convince someone that wants an auto to take it for a test drive.

If you are going to low-ball, it is best to do it in person with a check in hand from your credit union or bank. Many CUs will issue a new vehicle check that is blank but good for your approved loan amount. You fill in the price of the car and hand it to the dealer and the transaction is done. A few days later the CU will send you a payment book. That is the most powerful way to do business because it tells the dealership you are approved, you are buying a car, and if you leave it won't be their car.

Good choice on the car, a gt new was around 30k, they had a 4k rebate on them back in 07, but lately the car has regained some of it's value because they stopped making them. An 07 with 23k is not bad miles depending on the inservice date (meaning the day the car drove off the lot). Anyway good luck with the car if you do make the purchase. Good to meet another muslim brother in the Mazda Community.

The one thing you have to take into consideration,if you gonna low ball the dealer and were paying with a CU check they will have to raise the price to incur the CU fee's (some bancks/CU have loan app. fees that they charge in the fine print),and some CU you have to have a certain amount of money in the bank to get the low interest rate, also CU have the right to with hold, meaning if they were going into financial problems they can at anytime withdraw the money from your account or take the car back and sell it to cover their loss quick, but they never tell you that (it's in the fine print).
