first track day

hey everyone im gonna be goin to the track for the first time on wednesday, just wonderin if anyone had any help hints/tricks/tips for me..

go slow at first, listen to any instructors, tires must be near new, high temp brake fluid added and a recent oil change.

Your tires will take a huge beating! As will your brakes. Be sure not to set the parking brake after you are done with each session and if they give you a cool down lap be sure to take it easy on it!!! Have fun and let us know how it went!!

yeah true. oh well. when I think of a track I think of a road course. 1/4 mile is a strip to me. But you are right.....
