my car is making funny noises so i assume it is bad

from what i can tell, there is a creaking noise whenever i am in drive and moving and turn my steering wheel to the left. it only makes the noise when i turn the wheel to the left. No sound when i turn right.

anyone know what that means?

also the white fan on the drivers side in the engine bay seems like its spinning really fast. i could hear it whirring loudly from the drivers seat and i dont remember hearing it before

The creaking sound when you turn left sounds like your driver side CV-Joint is bad. Best way to check is to lift the car and look to see if there are any tears in the rubber CV boot, if there are most likely the grease inside dried out and the Joint started to wear or sand/dirt got into it.

The fan not sure about I would have to hear it to have a clue what could be wrong.

the cv joint is the one that breaks when you drive on bump pothole roads a lot right?

Is it alright to drive w/ it like that? or should i see a mechanic asap?

you will be alright for a little bit, just dont let it go too long, then there would leave a chance for more to go wrong. check prices on boot repair kits, or the whole half shaft

the creaking sound is gone now? could it have been dust in the cv joint? i live on a dirt road and its been hot so lots of dust flying from people driving too fast.
