Automatic Tiptronic MSP

i need to know if my ECU from my msp with work with a Triptronic transmission..need to find out quick...its just a temporarily solution to get my bitch back on the road..(bang) and can a auto handle 170hp?(glare)

protege5? It won't work, you'd need a tiptronic P5 ECU and a standalone to manage the turbo...

what about a simple auto tranmission, will it work with a ECU?

i have a p5 with the tiptronic transmission. in manual mode, the up-shifting works fine but the down shifting works off and on. might anyone have a clue as to why this is happening?

with what ECU? it won't work with an MSP ECU so you'll need some kind of standalone no matter what.
