After installing the FMIC and BOV (it's on the hot pipe right after the turbo) I noticed this sound. It sounds like one of those party truimpets that unrolls when you blow through it. But it only makes then noise when in boost. I was thinking it was a leaking Coupler and tightened then all down to no avail. What can it be. BTW I still need to relocate the MAF. I also checked all the Vac hoses from the BOV, WGA and the one that feeds into the Intake from the motor itself.
I'm having issues posting the video I took

What kind of bov do you have?

Ssqv. When I'm driving it sounds like the noise is coming from the drivers side. and the BOV is way on the pass side

I have a boost gauge, that's what I was trying to post in the vid but don't know how. The boost gauge shows nothing wrong. Steady at 20-21 Vac when still and all.

I had something similar...turned out that I needed to tighten down the tie wraps on my vac line to the vac gauge

Playing with throttle how? If it was my intake wouldn't it also make the sound when I rev the motor in neutral. I have yet to be able to mimic the sound without being in the boost. I had an open air filter mounted on the stock piping before. and now have on the MAM intake. It makes the noise with both the K&N and the generic when in boost. But it does sound like it's coming from the intake area.
How do I post video?

ok I tried the ties to all the vac lines, no luck. Also I'm not sure if this is normal but the BOV only sounds like it should after the car is warmed up for awhile, Which I you can kinda hear in the video too.
Edit: I'm going to toss the stock intake on and see what happens

Ok so it's not the intake. I put the stocker on and went for a drive still making the sound. I wonder if one of my couplers is loose or has a hole poked through it. I'll have to see about that later.

I know this sound...you have a tear in one of your couplers/hoses that is very small...these are the hardest to find because they will only happen in boost and they don't affect the performance much...its like whistling...
you will have to basically check out every coupler and look for small signs of wear...
I had this problem on my BPV hose when I was using the stock lines it sounded like the car was farting all the time...when I eventually got fed up I tore the car apart and notices that the worm clamps that I used ended up slitting the hose just enough to let air escape under boost pressure

Damn I kinda thought that was the issue. I started thinking that when I looked happened to look at one of the extra couplers that came with my used kit and found a slit where the clamp had been tightened. Atleast I know what the issue may be and that it's not a big deal. Now I just need to get my pipes to fit right so I can get the bumper back on all the way.

Fixed! I must have had a loose coupler I checked and never found any holes. but when trying to rework my pipes I must have did something right
