Hey im thinking about buying some shifter bushings. From what ive read they are a cheap way to fix the smushy (i love that word) stock shift feel. Anyway if I order them from SU will it come with instructions? Also how tricky are they to install / how long for a newb to do it?

I've read you can grind down your stock bushings to take out some of that slop. Although I have no firsthand experience, I am planning this mod soon.

Yeah I think devil guy (enginear? can't remember screenname) figured out how to stiffen shifts for free. But I think like you do, I want something I can put back to stock if I need to. I assume they come with instructions, not sure on time frame, haven't done this mod yet.

Yes it comes with instructions and It's really easy, it only took me 30 minutes to install (after I had the correct wrench). Just make sure you have all the tools they list in the instructions before you start. I thought I had all of them but couldn't find the correct wrench so I had to drive my car to the store with it all apart.

If by chance it doesn't come with instructions, TWM has a how-to on their product page for their SS and bushings, and it works very well.
