Just picked up an 06 Mazda 5 GT and have an old hid kit from the Mazda 6 I had so picking up some new bulbs and was wondering if there was anything else I need besides the H7 bulb? No adaptors for the bulb to fit properly in the housing or anything like that? Keep reading about h7 adaptors and couldn't see where it would be used.
Thanks in advance...

i installed those aftermarket HID kits on my 08, and it was pretty much just direct plug in.

If it is direct plug and play thats great. The reason I asked was that I put a set of Philips Crystalvision halogen bulbs in last nite and set of rims which is another topic and I noticed thats there is a base to mount the bulb to and was wondering if the H7 hid bulb comes with the base attached or have to be bought afterward.
Haven't got the car in the driveway an hour and already got it modded.

lol good stuff...
getting those H7 bulbs in there is a pain in the butt...
u're in oakville area? i'm in scarborough... i'm always all over the place in toronto.. so it's not hard to spot me in GTA area... grey 5 with hid, hood/window deflector with tint windows.. day time is easier to spot me, i ran my DRL to the fogs. so during the day time.. i have fog lights on

Do you have the link for the DRL to fogs? Wouldn't mind doing that as well? The bulbs were the second thing I did. The first was to put on my RX8 rims. Hids are next. The bulbs aren't too bad. The 6 you had to take the bumper off to do them and remove the light assembly. Here's to progress...
Cheers...

Hey Blacktalon13,
I would also like to know how you got the DRL (Daytime Running Lights) connected somewhere else than your low beams...
I'm driving an '06 M-5 GT and I installed the HID on both low and fog lights. Therefore, I would try to put my DRL on highbeam instead... If this is feasible..
