17x8, 245/40 on a 3?

i have my old rota boosts from my evo. 245/40 tire, 17x8 wheel. unsure of offset, whatever you sold me that fits the evo in that size :) any guess on them fitting? i know the simple solution is to try them on but they're at my parent's house and lately i've only gone there for dinner and don't want to get dirty before dinner. i think they'd look nice and they're just sitting in a garage so if they fit i'll throw them on. what's the gut feel?

with a 35mm offset i'd suggest a 225.

you'll keep negative camber and rolled fenders also
