Hi everyone, I am new to the forum. I have a question about my 2000 mazda protege. In the past few weeks it has been doing something a bit strange and I cannot figure out what the problem is. I will be driving down the road, and my car will just die, I sit for a few mins and the car will start right back up with no problem. The car does this a few times a day while driving a bit more increasingly in the past few days. I know it is not the battery or the alternator. I had a belt problem a month ago where I had my belts replaced because they kept sqeeking and had a transmission flush done as well. I have never had an real problems with my car, and need help trying to diagnose this problem. My check engine light has been steadily on for the past few months as well. Please help if you can

If the check engine light is on, take it to AutoZone and get a free readout of the codes. Random stalling is often caused by work spark plugs/spark plug wires--I'd check those first.

These are the codes that I got from them
P1345 - CMP malfunction
P0106 - MAF condition
P0401 - EGR system fault
where should I begin with these codes, my spark plugs were chaged about 2 years ago, so i think they should still be good.
