Noise from driver door..

Lately I have been hearing a creaking or clicking noise coming from my driver side door area....

...I can hear it going into driveways or parking lots at an angle or when I am on the freeway and hit bumps or dips in the road...


Anyone else having this issue?? I have a 2007 with 30K on it......

check the drain flappers on the bottom edge of the door. They are black plastic and can be a source of noise.

I hear that light tapping noise right by my head around the top of the window.

Interesting, my fiance' was telling my I was crazy. I have been hearing a tapping noise by the drivers door as well. It's faint, but it drives me nuts.

if you used your jack in the back of your trunk, chances are, you probably didn't tighten it enough. Thats what i found out about mine... i rode with this anoying squeak and knocks for more than a month and i finally got pissed and decided to take everything out the trunk and secure them well. I tightened the jack so hard i don't think i'll be able to take it out again. Also the cardboard covering the spare tire moves around a bit so i stuck news papers between the cardboard and the bumper. i don't hear anything anymore.

I would have to say this is coming from the door for sure. It's really starting to get on my nerves.

Im glad to hear someone else has this same annoying creaking noise. It started about 2 months ago and just ignored it. I also have a 2007 with 17K miles on it. Ive tried lubing the window edges and the rubber around the door but it hasnt helped......may have to take the door panel off and start looking inside.

Mine has 27k miles on it.. It makes tons of weird noises... Bout to trade in for a new one!

i notice a clicking noise too!!! I only hear it though if there is something around me that the sound can bounce off and come through my window...like if Im driving down a quiet road with a dense tree line on both sides.

As I speed up...the clicking gets faster lol

It does it somethings...but doesnt other times...kind of wierd

wow i hear the same thing... the first time i find out that it was a rock stuck on to my tire after removing that the sound was gone but like 2 days later i hear it again but didn't bother to check for rock and i just drove it for lunch today and the sound was gone! so i don't know lol
