again.,,, fucking issues with my car... im on the high way coming from a concert.. going about 50mph wana go to about 60mph.. hit around 64mph and the car just like... acts like it stalled out? but then drops to about 55mph and kicks in again?
like.. my problem.. im guesing is the egr valvue?
but im really getting fed up with the pos =/

i never really ride it hard.. no point? its bone stock..
only time i did was on accident... i put it on reverse about 10mph and went to drive instead of netural =/ wich made the car stall out the first time. sooooo im guessing thats why?
sucks because no reall job = no cash
$7.50 hour at subway and not really working because school 7:20 am.. to 2:20pm night school 3:10pm to 5:10pm and then work... 5:30 to 10:30pm 11pm to 5am = sleep.. haha fun huh?

I had similar issues of the speed and RPMs just dropping. It was my coil packs giving out.

i'd check the fuel pump/system. my old 1.6 had the same problem when the tank would drop below 1/2 tank. Power was fine till it stalled and lost all power momentarily, then would kick back in.

ok.. driving home from work.. CEL came on.. and my Overdrive is blinking on and off... im not pushing the button and its not stuck... im gueing its the coil packs? because like.. ive gone in to the same god damn shop 4 times now... and all they say is i have a p303 or a p302 (cilinder misfire) and omfg.. im getting pissed....

also when i hit around 65mph it jsut like wants to stall and wont go faster... drops speed and acts up again... ugh,, fuck mazda engines >.>

go to a autozone or where ever they will read your code for free. look it up on a google search.

but sounds to me liek the coil packs.

check your plugs too

ok well last week i went in and had it read with a p303 and they place that has a warenty on my replaced it so im going to have to agree with you on the coil packs.

My car did the same type of deal but it didnt kick back in, it just died on the side of the highway. I replaced the coilpacks and fuel pump. Worked fine for like a month or 2 and then did the same thing. So I replaced the fuel pump again because it didnt turn on when I turned the ignition key to the on position, so I replaced it with ProtegeGarage.com's $100 Walbro 255lph pump because its cheaper than the OEM Mazda fuel pump. Hope this info helps you in some way. Let us know if you ever get this problem fixed. Remember, start with the small shit, like plugs, wires, coilpacks, etc. I think I paid like 27$ for 2 coilpacks something like that, it was pretty cheap.

ok well i just got back from auto zone, and thanks for your ideas guys.
well the scan said that i have a P0767 ("the pcm determined that the voltage from shift solenoid 'D' indacates a 'stuck on' condition")

guessing i may need a newer tranny or a used one =/
