So I've got new engine mounts for my MSP, and I have no floor jacks or anything to help lift, besides what came with the car. My wierd question is this: is it possible to change any of the mounts using just the jack the car came with? Haha, I know its not very professional, or probably any fun, but I seriously need to get these on, and have no money to get any floor jacks or pay someone to do it. Thanks for any help.

ahhh im not sure if u could do that, but u could just put a peice of wood in between the block and the jack and just twist the hell out of that thing lol

as long as u can support the engine u should be able to do it with that, the mounts are hard as hell to put on tho, the pass side anyways, if u have the inserts
new mounts should be no prob

I put the front and rear on without a jack. I just drove it up on the ramps and went to work

dont you have to jack the motor up to releive pressure on the mounts?

All you have to do is find something solid to support the motor. Jack the car up, loosen the motor mount bolts, put in a motor support and lower the car until the motor is resting on the support. Make sure you leave yourself enough room to work.

Sorry I've been busy with school starting. I have the front AWR mount, and I hope to get the rear mount, not inserts, as mine is shredded to hell. I think. Isn't the crazy shaking when launching and lots of shifter movement because of the rear mount being bad? Anyways, thanks for your help and ideas.
